Thank you so much for inviting me to your spectacular celebration tonight. Unfortunately I will be in Wichita speaking at the annual Diwali Festival sponsored by the Cultural Association of India.
I am honored to serve in the Kansas House of Representatives and celebrate the rich diversity of our state. As the first elected official of South Asian descent in Kansas, I am proud of the success of our community and am excited for the many accomplishments yet to come.
My wife Monica and I wish we could be there with you tonight to see the wonderful program and amazing performances but trust that we will be in Kansas City soon to spend time with you.
